At the age of 19 She released her debut single Here. It was an instant hit, and both critics and admirers praised it. The song reached the top spot at 19 on both the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone called the track one of the Top Songs in 2015. In that same year she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being one of five original tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts. This includes The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. This particular track was special due to her interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans shared their experiences of doubting herself and learning how to love herself. Cara's tracks often contain positive thoughts about mental health and how important it is to love yourself. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her struggle with mental illness, insomnia and other health issues. According to a Reuters interview, she described her album as half-tumultuous and half complete. She says she grew through therapy, and encourages others to seek help when necessary. Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on July 11 1996 to parents from Italian origin. At the age of 10 old, her parents gifted her a guitar, which was the foundation of her love for music. She started covering her favorite songs when she was 13, to prove to the world she had the skills and the determination required to be a singer. Sweater Weather became her most well-known cover. An album label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her to write songs.
